Wild About Wildlife will welcome internationally recognized author and environmental advocate Richard Louv to Palm Beach on October 12, 2026 for a special community breakfast and conversation about reconnecting children and families with the natural world.
Hosted at The Ben Hotel in West Palm Beach, the event will feature a keynote talk from Louv followed by a book signing and community discussion about the role nature plays in our lives.

Wild About Wildlife hosts gatherings that unite donors, conservation advocates, and community partners in support of the National Wildlife Refuge Association’s work.
An evening of purpose and philanthropy honoring conservation leaders who advance environmental education and stewardship in Palm Beach County and beyond. The annual gala features a cocktail reception, live and silent auctions, dinner, and program, with proceeds the Refuge Association’s South Florida Urban Wildlife Refuge Project.
This year’s honorees include Margo McKnight, 2026 Conservationist of the Year, and Amy Kight, 2026 Next Generation Environmental Hero.
